Haulotte Changzhou turns 10

On 23 July Haulotte Changzhou celebrated its 10^th anniversary. The factory is located in Jiangsu Province, China and was intended to serve the Chinese domestic market. Today the plant manufactures and exports electric scissor lifts, vertical masts and articulating booms to Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States.

The factory has witnessed and supported China’s aerial work platform industry growth and qualitative changes. Haulotte’s chief operating officer Patrice Métairie said, “Haulotte has always believed in the Chinese market. We will continue to invest and face the challenges in China.” Haulotte’s goal is to increase and diversify its production in China in order to match the expansion of the Asian market.

A ceremony attended by Haulotte’s corporate team was organised to mark the occasion. Almost 220 people attended the event, among them Changzhou Xinbei District officials, Haulotte’s APAC (Asia Pacific) teams, Changzhou factory employees, suppliers and customers.

During the dinner, Alexandre Saubot, CEO of the Haulotte Group, thanked the guests for their close collaboration. A prize was also rewarded Changzhou’s early employees for their outstanding involvement in the past ten years. Finally, a graffiti wall was unveiled, which was created onsite with messages from all participants and which will be exhibited in the factory.
