United orders 5000th Haulotte machine

Haulotte and United Forklift and Access Solutions are celebrating a significant milestone. United has ordered its 5000th machine from Haulotte continuing a successful partnership that =began in 2012.

In reaching 5000 machines United joins the ranks of just a few other retailers worldwide to attain the milestone for Haulotte. Asia Pacific managing director for Haulotte, Damien Gautier, visited Perth recently and took the time to congratulate United on the achievement.

“United are one of our top customers around the world and a true partner for Australia. Their feedback about the Australian market and support is critical to our success in the Asia Pacific region,” said Damien.

For United this marks an achievement in growing from a smaller WA based business, to becoming one of Australia’s largest forklift and access equipment providers. United’s managing director, David Maxwell, explains what the experience means. “When I started, we were a small Western Australian business with two branches and only 20 employees. Now we have 11 locations across Australia and one the largest rental fleets in Australia supported by 455 employees,” he said.

The sturdiness of the Haulotte machines and the technical innovations they incorporate, particularly in terms of safety have been instrumental in the successful relationship. Haulotte machines are designed to be robust, reliable and easy to maintain.

David said, “The first machine we ordered was a HA120PX, which was a basic machine compared to the advanced versions available today. It was great to see that the Compact 10DX was our 5000th machine ordered, this machine is a true workhorse of the industry, with its 4WD capabilities and robust design.”

The significance of a partner like United to Haulotte extends beyond mere transactions; it hinges on trust and a shared commitment to common objectives. Damien emphasises, “our relationship with United is founded on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect. Together, we drive innovation and excellence, united in the pursuit of shared success.”

United also see the benefit of a relationship based on open communication and feedback.

David said, “We’ve had numerous instances where we’ve collaborated with Haulotte, providing feedback on their products, suggesting improvements, or adjustments tailored to the Australian market. Haulotte consistently takes this feedback seriously, incorporating it into their manufacturing process to deliver well-designed solutions that meet our needs.”

“Our philosophy is having quality product with quality people, so together with Haulotte, we are continually aiming to deliver this everyday.”
