Haulotte Australia set to expand to new office

Haulotte Australia will be moving into new premises on the Nexus Industrial Estate on Portlink Drive in Dandenong South.

Property developer, Salta Properties has designed a new distribution centre specifically for Haulotte Australia Pty Ltd, featuring 550sqm of office space; 3000sqm of warehousing; and 5300sqm of container hardstand.

CEO of Haulotte, Alexandre Saubot travelled from the company’s international headquarters in France to celebrate the announcement with a site visit and sod turn ceremony.

Saubot said, “The purpose-built site at Nexus Industrial will allow Haulotte to grow its business and better serve our customers’ needs for safe and innovative elevated work platforms and telehandlers.

“Australia is key to our world-wide growth strategy as we celebrate 20 years in Australia and we look forward to the next 20 years of success in our new sale and service subsidiary,” he said.

Salta Properties managing director, Sam Tarascio welcomed Haulotte Group as its latest tenant at the industrial precinct and highlighted the importance of tailored solutions for tenants and clients.

Construction will be carried out by Q Design & Construct with work set to commence in June and completion scheduled for November 2019. Haulotte will soon occupy a site with an end value of approximately AU$6.2 million at the emerging Nexus Industrial site, which plays an integral role in Salta Properties’ inland port strategy, a long-term initiative aimed at improving freight efficiency across the state of Victoria.
