Haulotte supplies scissors to Thai Airways

MEWPs are often used for aircraft maintenance or repair and Haulotte has met their needs by providing them efficient and safe lifting equipment. Haulotte’s Singapore subsidiary has delivered several H12 SX scissor lifts to Thai Airways in Thailand.

Aircraft maintenance is highly regulated – the H12SX is suitable for high access applications and provides high safety levels for the staff who control the correct functioning of aircrafts before a flight. The large platform can lift up to four workers to complete the most demanding jobs. The two platform extensions offer additional space, achieving a total platform length of 6m. A lift capacity of 700kg enables operators to load many pieces of equipment up to 10m long, while the tight turning radius ensures easy manoeuvring in the hangars.

Three of Thai Airways staff attended a training session at Haulotte Singapore to ensure safe use of their new machines. The training included a hands-on demonstration and an overview of safety features, as well as maintenance operations. “This practical workshop is a great way to familiarize our customers with our products.” says Tin Maung Lynn, a trainer in the Haulotte Singapore subsidiary.
