Keeping the Hyundai building in Indonesia clean

Skyjack division is on site with customer PT Natraco Tunas Citra – a material handling and aerial work platform business headquartered in Bandung, Indonesia – helping with a month-long cleaning project at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing site in Cikarang, Indonesia.

“When the subcontractor asked for machines that deliver accuracy and precision in indoor and outdoor spaces, are easy to operate, offer the best possible reach, and require little maintenance, we immediately recommended Skyjack’s electric scissor lifts and telescopic booms,” says Andika Liga, manager of PT Natraco.

The Skyjack models on site including the SJ86 T and the SJ4740 are assisting with work such as cleaning the exterior signage. The SJ86 T offers industry leading horizontal and vertical outreach with a working height of 92ft (28.04m). It leverages an axle-based, four-wheel drive system to deliver superior traction and terrainability. Like other Skyjack booms, the SJ86 T features EasyDrive, direction sensing drive and steer controls that eliminate the need for colour coded arrows to determine drive versus joystick direction.

With a working height of 44ft 11in (13.69m), the SJ4740 is capable of manoeuvring in confined job sites with zero emissions. It comes equipped with pothole protection, a load sensing system, an emergency lowering toggle, and a CAN bus capable smart charger with temperature compensation and profile selection for different battery types.

“Skyjack products are an ideal fit for the versatile and large-scale cleaning job required at the Hyundai building,” says Ivan Huan, regional sales manager at Skyjack. “Our models are designed with simplicity and reliability in mind offering the rental industry’s best life cycle value through low cost of ownership, the retention of high residual values, and ease of service and maintenance.”

The Hyundai building in Cikarang is currently under construction requiring ongoing interior and exterior cleaning services. Skyjack is expected to remain on site for another couple of weeks.
